Second Life is one of the most famous free virtual world games ever, if not the most famous. Launching in 2003 by Linden Lab, it boasts over 20 million registered users and entire businesses running in the game.
Besides interacting with other players, it’s possible to create your own objects, businesses and fully customize your avatars beyond anything you ever imagined at first. This is more than a virtual world, it’s a place where players have to learn how to survive, discovering and becoming skilled at activities that can turn out really lucrative.
